Canada vs. Dominican Republic

NBA STARS COMING TO HAMILTON TO REPRESENT CANADA IN WORLD CUP QUALIFYING GAME.

            A roster filled with NBA stars will represent Canada on Canada Day when the Canadian Senior Men’s National Team hosts a FIBA World Cup Qualifier game at Hamilton’s FirstOntario Centre. The July 1 game tips off at 7 p.m. with Team Canada taking on Dominican Republic as both teams seek a berth in the 2023 FIBA World Cup.

 

            Hamilton’s own Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, RJ Barrett, Dwight Powell, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Cory Joseph, Jamal Murray, Oshae Brissett, Dillon Brooks, Kelly Olynyk, Khem Birch, Lu Dort, and Kevin Pangos are among the core pool of players who have committed to representing Canada in the lead-up to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
