Group Sales FAQs

How many people do we need in our group to qualify for the group discount?

Group minimums vary by event but typically range from 10 to 15 individuals. Call the group sales department at 905-546-2391 to confirm minimums.

What age does a child need to be admitted free?

For most shows, children under 2 years of age are admitted free. Please call the group sales department at 905-546-2391 for exact show information.

When should we arrive for the show?

Doors typically open one hour prior to an event, so you can arrive any time after that. The box office at FirstOntario Centre and FirstOntario Concert Hall open 3 hours before an event if not already open.

What is the deadline for ordering group tickets?

Group sales ticket discounts cannot be given on the day of an event. Please keep in mind that our office hours are 9am - 5pm Monday through Friday. If you call after these hours, leave a message and we will contact you during the next business day.

How will we receive our group tickets after we order them?

Group tickets will be left at will-call under the name provided at the FirstOntario Centre box office unless you request them to be mailed to you (additional $12 charge for mailing). Will-call at the FirstOntario Centre box office is open Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm and Saturdays from 9:30am-1pm*.

Additionally, the box office is open at both the FirstOntario Centre and FirstOntario Concert Hall 3 hours prior to an event. FirstOntario Concert Hall's box office is not open unless there is an event where it is then opened 3 hours prior.

*Summer hours do come in affect for the FirstOntario Insurance Broker's Box Office at FirstOntario Centre after Victoria Day long weekend until after Labour Day weekend where the box office is not open on Saturday's but maintain regular Monday-Friday hours.

How do we pay for our group ticket order?

Group orders can be paid for with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, cash or cheque. Payment is required before any tickets can be processed.

Can I fax in my group order?

Group orders can be faxed to the Group Sales Department at 905-546-6227.

Can I email in my group order?

Group orders can be emailed to the venue at groupsales@coreentertainment.com.

What if I don't have people to qualify as a group?

All non-group tickets (typically 10 or less) can be purchased in person at the FirstOntario Insurance Broker's Box Office at FirstOntario Centre, via phone at 905.546.4040 or online at www.ticketmaster.ca.

Do you have school shows?

Throughout the year, the Group Sales Department helps to plan many special school related and educational programs. Many of these occur within the school day and can serve as a great "out-of-the-clasroom" experience. For a full group sales event listing and times click here or call 905-546-2391.

Are there group discounts for events at all three venues?

Group discounts vary on an event-by-event basis but can be offered at all three venues.

Can I cancel my group sales order?

Once tickets are paid for, they are not refundable or exchangeable. Please practice caution when purchasing as all sales are final.

Can I add to my order?

Groups may add to their original order but may be subjected to an additional service charge. The additional seating will be selected as close as possible to the original order. Additional orders must be placed at least 24 hours prior to the date of the show.

What if I lose my tickets?

Please contact the Group Sales Department at 905-546-2391 if this occurs.

Do you have handicap accessible seating?

A Core Entertainment Group Sales Representative is able to reserve handicap accessible seating to events and will do their best to seat your group as close together as possible.

Are there extra fees on group sales orders?

 

All Core Entertainment group ticket orders include a $6-$10 handling fee. This handling fee is per order, not per ticket. If you wish to have your tickets mailed, an additional fee will also be added.

Can I come to the venue the day of an event, purchase my group tickets and still receive the group discount?

 

No. Group ticket orders will not receive a group discount the day of the show. All group ticket orders must be placed prior to the group discount cut-off date for each event to receive the discount.

Do you sell group tickets for concerts?

For most major concerts, group tickets are not available. You can contact the Group Sales Department at 905.546.2391 to inquire whether group tickets are available for a specific event.

Where do we park our bus?

Please discuss this in advance with your Group Sales representative, as it may vary with each show.

Can I purchase my group sales tickets online?

No. All group sales orders must be placed with a Core Entertainment Group Sales representative at 905-546-2391.
