How do I enter FirstOntario Centre, FirstOntario Concert Hall and The Studio?

To enter the FirstOntario Centre, our main entrance and box office is off of Bay Street. For some events, an additional entrance can be found off of York Street.

The entrance to FirstOntario Concert Hall (formerly Hamilton Place)  is located off of Summers Lane at the corner of Main Street East and Summers Lane.

The entrance to The Studio is located off of Summers Lane beside the Hamilton Convention Centre.

 

Are there ATMS within the building?

Yes we have ATMS located throughout all of our venues. All of our concession stands accept debit and credit at point of sale.

Where do I go in the building if I need assistance?

You can receive assistance by contacting any member of our Event Staff (usher/ticket taker). At FirstOntario Centre we have a Guest Relations desk located by Section 115 for all your questions and concerns.

How old must children be to attend an event without being accompanied by an adult?

Children 12 years of age and under MUST be accompanied by an adult when attending all events.

Can I bring my camera to Core Entertainment events?

Camera policies are subject to change for each event and are dictated by the artist/artist management. Please see our policies page for our standard camera policy.

What time to doors open to the public for each event?

Typically doors open 1 hour prior to each event. Please be sure to check out the event page on our website to ensure you know the correct time.

Can I smoke when attending Core Entertainment events?

You are not allowed to smoke inside any of our buildings, however we provide designated smoking areas at all of our venues. A re-entry system is available for smokers during all events across from Section 101 at FirstOntario Centre, on the Mezzanine level of FirstOntario Concert Hall, and at the Front Doors of The Studio. These locations are subject to change and our friendly staff will be more than happy to give you directions to any of these locations.

At what age do I need to purchase my child a ticket?

Generally children 24 months and younger are admitted free of charge for family shows as long as they are sitting on a lap, unless otherwise stated. For all other performances, all patrons require a ticket. Please check show information to get specfic ticketing details for children.
