CORE Entertainment is committed to making all information available on www.coreentertainement.ca accessible and navigable for people with disabilities. We are committed to treating people with disabilities in a way that maintains their dignity and independence.

Information can be made in an accessible format upon request.


Accessible formats and communication supports

CORE will provide an assist for the provision of accessible formats and communication supports for persons with disabilities upon request. Accessible formats and communication supports shall be provided in a timely manner, taking into account, the person's accessibility needs to determine the suitability of an accessible format or communication support. The public shall be notified about the availability of accessible formats and communication supports.

Making Requests

CORE will respond to individual requests for accessible formats and communication supports regarding any content on www.coreentertainement.ca. Requests for accessible formats can be made by timely and appropriate manner by emailing info@coreentertainment.ca.

 

Entrances

Guests can access FirstOntario Centre through the Box Office located on Bay Street. Access to FirstOntario Concert Hall (formally Hamilton Place)  is through our main entrance on Summers Lane. The Studio can be accessed through our main entrance on Summers Lane.

Elevators and Escalators

FirstOntario Concert Hall (formally Hamilton Place) and FirstOntario Centre are equipped with elevators that can access all levels of seating. FirstOntario Centre also has escalators located by our Bay Street Entrance. The Studio does not require elevators or escalators to access.

Service Animals

All service animals are welcome at all of our venues with proper documentation. Please notify your ticket taker at time of purchase if an aisle seat is required for your service animal.

Wheelchair Escort

If you require a wheelchair escort or further assistance, please speak to a member of our Event Staff upon your arrival. Visit our Guest Relations desk at Aisle 37 to speak with an Event Services Supervisor that would be happy to assist you.

Hearing Assist

Hearing Assist Devices are available free of charge at our Guest Relations desk located by Aisle 37 in FirstOntario Centre. Hearing Assist Devices can be located at coat check at FirstOntario Concert Hall (formally Hamilton Place). We regret to inform you that Hearing Assist Devices are not available for Studio events. You will be asked to leave your credit card or photo identification as a deposit.

Sensory Bags

Our sensory bags are designed to help sensory needs in both adults and children. Filled with items that can help lessen sensory overload and also engage, the bag items are also easily cleaned and sterilized for multiple uses.

Mobile Sensory Station (M.S.S.)

Our mobile sensory station, M.S.S for short is designed to bring a mobile sensory experience to any space that lacks a physical space for a dedicated sensory room. From classrooms to medical exam rooms, our M.S.S ensures that all guests can feel comfortable.
